01| Documentation of East Falls Bridge

Project 01 consisted of represention of the East Falls Brideg by means of analog and digital methods including drawing of site plan and perspectives, photography and constructing a collage with the use of Adobe Photoshop.
02| Implied Perspectives

With Project 02 we combined the analog and digital aspects. Using photos of the East Falls Bridge we overlaid the pictures with hand rendered drawing of those pictures using Adobe Photoshop.
03| Manipultion

Continuing work with the East Falls Bridge, Project 03 consisted of working with Adobe Photoshop to manipulate photos of the bridge in order to represent the bridge in a different way using tool such as the clone tool, brightness and contrast, hue and saturation, and various other editing tools.
04| Analog and Digital Collages

For the final project in the representation of East Falls Bridge we again used a digital and analog combination. Detail photos of the bridge were overlaid with hand rendered drawings of those pictures.
05| Representation of an Object: Sketched and Shaded

For Project 05 we chose an object to represent. For the first representation, we had to sketch and shade drawings of the object. This assignment was also an introduction to Adobe inDesign
06| Representation of an Object: Analog Drafting

Continuing with the representation of an object, next was to draft the object by hand.
07| Representation of an Object: Digital Drafting

The final assignment for representing an object was to digitally draft drawings of the object. This assignment was an introduction to Adobe Illustrator.
08| Free Swim

For this assignment we were given the opportunity to redo one of the assignments that we did not do well on earlier in the semester. I chose to redo assignment 02: Implied Perspectives.
09| Constructs

In out Design 2 class we created models of a famous house of our choice. My house was the Paulk Residence. For assignment 09 we had to photograph our model and manipulate the photos to highlight certain elements of the house.
10| Instructional

Assignment 10 was a further exploration of Adobe Illustrator. We were to create an instructional poster that would give clear instructions of how to do something step-by- step. My poster ws entitled "How to Get Survive in Wonderland."
11| Barnes Foundation Documentation

Similar to Assignment 02, this assignment was a documantation of a site, in thi case the Barnes Foundation locatedd in Center City Philadelphia. We were required to do four drawings, take four concept photos, and do a multimedia collage. My concept for this project was a focus on reflection.
12| Portfolio

For Assignment 12 we were to construct portfolios for all of the previous projects we had done in Technics of Communication. This was done on Adobe InDesign and served as documantation of all our work.
13| Book Cover

Assignment 13 was to create a cover for a book. I chose the book Alice in Wonderland by Lewic Carroll. Along with the book cover we were to take pictures of the book cover on the actual book, one of the book in conext, one with someone holding the book, and one of just the book.
13| Graphic

In assignment 13 our task was to design a lecture poster for an architecture school. I chose to create one for the school Sci- Arc. Our concept for the poster had to reflect the style of our school and was to feature architects that would potencially speak there.
15| Design Perspective

The final assignment corresponded with our final design projects. Taking pictures or drawings of the visitor's center that we created. From that we designed two images that represented the concept for our project. I chose to manipulate one of my section drawings and a top view of my model.
